Steps for completing THESIS assessments:

Step 1: Complete your THESIS onboarding process and purchase your THESIS License. This article includes a step-by-step. How do I purchase a THESIS license?

Step 2: Complete your assessments: Go to your Dashboard and click on an assessment to open it.

  • THESIS Start and THESIS Wrap Up: These are automatically available on your dashboard.
  • Product Category Assessments: These assessments are not automatically available. You self select Product Category Assessments based on the products you sell.

You can add Assessments to your THESIS Account in two ways:

    • Assessment Hierarchy: During onboarding, the THESIS assessment hierarchy will walk you through selecting the THESIS assessments for the products you sell.
    • From your dashboard: You can also add assessments after onboarding from your THESIS dashboard. You can find a video tutorial here.

After they're added to your account, to complete your THESIS assessments you will go through the following steps:

  1. Organize your Data Collection:
    1. Identify all product types (e.g., SKUs) that fall within the product category and review the assessment product scope on the assessment cover page before preparing your answers.
    2. Identify the quantitative or qualitative attribute that each KPI is requesting.
    3. Identify and work with the manager or subject matter expert who can access and collect the required data for the KPI for all relevant SKUs/facilities/suppliers.
    4. Want information on what tools are available to support your data collection?

Completing THESIS Assessments FAQs

Why do I need executive approval to submit an assessment?

The highest-ranking sustainability executive in your organization must sign off on your organization’s completed assessment prior to submitting. This step is required for verifying that all information presented in the assessment is accurate. You will not be able to edit your responses once the assessment has been submitted.
